Después de la Revolución, durante la ocupación rusa, este edificio religioso se convirtió en capilla ortodoxa para las tropas rusas. De nuevo lugar de culto católico en 1818, la capilla Walcourt se convirtió en templo protestante para las tropas alemanas durante la I Guerra Mundial... La capilla Walcourt fue declarada monumento histórico en 1984, y sólo puede verse desde el exterior.
