Na de Revolutie, tijdens de Russische bezetting, werd dit religieuze gebouw een orthodoxe kapel voor de Russische troepen. In 1818 werd de Walcourtkapel opnieuw een katholieke gebedsplaats en tijdens de 1e Wereldoorlog werd het een protestantse tempel voor Duitse troepen... De Walcourtkapel werd in 1984 op de monumentenlijst geplaatst en is alleen aan de buitenkant te zien.
