Après la Révolution, durant l'occupation russe, cet édifice religieux devint une chapelle orthodoxe pour les troupes russes. De nouveau lieu de culte catholique en 1818, la chapelle de Walcourt sera un temple protestant pour les troupes allemandes lors de la 1ère guerre mondiale... La chapelle de Walcourt est classée monument historique depuis 1984.A noter Monument visible uniquement de l’extérieur.
