Dopo la Rivoluzione, durante l'occupazione russa, questo edificio religioso divenne una cappella ortodossa per le truppe russe. Tornata ad essere un luogo di culto cattolico nel 1818, la cappella di Walcourt divenne un tempio protestante per le truppe tedesche durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale... La cappella di Walcourt è stata dichiarata monumento storico nel 1984 ed è visibile solo dall'esterno.
