El núcleo de esta colección, reunida por Henri Aymard (1878 - 1956), está formado por 35 capiteles románicos del siglo XII, una decena de ábacos y 2 dovelas de pórtico. El conjunto tiene forma de capilla medieval. No es un lugar de culto, sino un decorado recreado a principios del siglo XX, que combina las 3 grandes expresiones artísticas de la Edad Media: escultura, pintura y vidrieras.
