Construido a mediados del siglo XIX con granito local. Es de mampostería de piedra seca, es decir, construida sin materiales aglutinantes como mortero o cob. Tiene 2 funciones: la planta baja servía de refugio temporal al pastor para protegerse de los caprichos del tiempo. En su interior hay una chimenea. El primer piso es un colmenar cubierto. Las piedras planas situadas delante de cada abertura servían para colocar "bournats", colmenas lemosinas, para proteger a las abejas de la humedad del suelo.
