Gebouwd in het midden van de 19e eeuw van plaatselijk graniet. Het is droog metselwerk, d.w.z. gebouwd zonder bindende materialen zoals mortel of leem. Het heeft 2 functies: de begane grond werd gebruikt als tijdelijk onderkomen voor de herder om zich te beschermen tegen de grillen van het weer. Er is een open haard binnenin. De 1e verdieping is een overdekte bijenstal. Vlakke stenen voor elke opening werden gebruikt om "bournats", bijenkorven uit Limousin, te plaatsen om de bijen te beschermen tegen de vochtigheid van de grond.
