Situado al borde del bosque nacional de Châtellerault, el Lac de la Forêt es un lugar agradable para los paseantes. En verano, está permitido bañarse en la popular playa del lago. También hay senderos e instalaciones para picnic. Con una superficie de 532 hectáreas, el bosque ofrece un patrimonio natural ideal para pasear y hacer deporte, con varias pistas de fitness señalizadas en el bosque (4, 6 y 12 km), una bolera, zonas de juegos infantiles y un arboreto con 62 especies diferentes en un sendero de 1.500 metros.
