La casa renacentista, un notable monumento aquí en Kaysersberg, fue construida por el herrero Herzer en 1492, que vivió aquí durante toda su vida. En el borde del ventanal se puede ver una inscripción en alemán. Restaurado en 1907, fue sede del museo municipal de Kaysersberg durante 65 años.
