En una antigua explotación minera convertida en reserva natural, la playa está vigilada todos los días de 11.00 a 19.00 horas del 1 de julio al 31 de agosto.
Los dos últimos fines de semana de junio y los dos primeros de septiembre está vigilada de 13.00 a 18.00 horas.
La playa participa en un programa de certificación de gestión de las aguas de baño.
