La casa unifamiliar se abre a un patio, no lejos de la tienda multiservicios, la iglesia y el campo de petanca. Etienne, el propietario, que está terminando aquí su cuarta casa rural, ha optado por conservar el carácter de la casa: muros de piedra vista, vigas, gruesas puertas de roble y materiales aislantes orgánicos. Quiere que sea un lugar cálido e intergeneracional, donde los mayores puedan compartir el calor de la vida familiar durante su estancia. Para lograrlo, la escalera se equipará con un ascensor de pasajeros.
