La casa indipendente si apre su un cortile, non lontano dal negozio multiservizi, dalla chiesa e dal campo da bocce. Etienne, il proprietario, che sta completando il suo 4° gîte qui, ha scelto di preservare il carattere della casa: muri in pietra a vista, travi, spesse porte in rovere e materiali isolanti organici. Vuole che sia un luogo di vita caldo e intergenerazionale, dove le generazioni più anziane possano condividere il calore della vita familiare durante il loro soggiorno. A tal fine, la scala sarà dotata di un ascensore.
