El manantial del Burle es una exsurgencia kárstica de tipo vauclusiano. Su agua, cargada de sales de cobre, le da su color azul, punto de partida de la leyenda de Ste-Enimie.
La leyenda de Sainte-Enimie
Hija del rey de los francos, hermana del "buen rey Dagoberto", Enimie, princesa casta tan bella como piadosa, encontró en las aguas del manantial de Burle la cura para la terrible lepra que la devoraba. Se instaló cerca de este manantial benéfico y fundó una abadía, que es el origen del pueblo actual.
Su leyenda ha llegado hasta nosotros gracias a un poema en occitano medieval: "La vida de Santa Enimia", compuesto en el siglo XIII por Bertran de Marseilha, monje erudito de dicho monasterio.
