Este campanario románico sobresale del resto del edificio. Alberga el coro de la antigua capilla de San Esteban de la Orden Teutónica, construida en los siglos XI y XII, de la que es el único resto. La parte superior de la torre tiene ocho ventanas románicas. En una piedra exterior del campanario hay una talla muy estilizada de un pájaro posado en un árbol que data del siglo XI. La iglesia actual fue construida por el arquitecto Derobe en 1831. Los frescos del interior son obra de Jean Engels y datan de 1900.
