El Museo de los Amigos del País Antiguo se encuentra en el castillo medieval de Dieulouard, parcialmente restaurado. Presenta los restos galorromanos del yacimiento de Scarpone y la reconstrucción de un pequeño cementerio galorromano bajo tejas. La gran calzada romana que iba de Lyon a Tréveris pasando por Metz cruzaba el Mosela en Dieulouard, la antigua Scarpone. Este asentamiento, situado en la terraza aluvial baja, estaba dividido en islas, unidas por puentes de piedra y madera, y seguía siendo un lugar estratégico para cruzar el Mosela a principios de la Edad Media. - Abierto todos los domingos de marzo a noviembre (14:00 a 18:00) - Visitas guiadas para grupos (mínimo 10 personas) con cita previa.
