Het Museum van de Vrienden van het Oude Land is gevestigd in het gedeeltelijk gerestaureerde middeleeuwse kasteel van Dieulouard. Het presenteert de Gallo-Romeinse overblijfselen van de Scarpone site en de reconstructie van een kleine Gallo-Romeinse begraafplaats onder tegels. De grote Romeinse weg van Lyon naar Trier via Metz stak de Moezel over bij Dieulouard, het oude Scarpone. Deze nederzetting, gelegen op het lage alluviale terras, was verdeeld in eilanden, verbonden door stenen en houten bruggen, en bleef in de vroege Middeleeuwen een strategische plaats om de Moezel over te steken. - Open elke zondag van maart tot november (14-18 uur) - Rondleidingen voor groepen (min. 10 personen) op afspraak.
