A 10 km de Brive, el castillo de Castel Novel, que data de los siglos XIII y XV, es un magnífico complejo hotelero y de restauración rodeado de 17 hectáreas de parque. La escritora Colette fue la señora del castillo a principios del siglo XX. Además de las 27 habitaciones históricas del castillo, el Hôtel du Novel también ofrece 10 habitaciones en el Cottage, a dos pasos del castillo.
