El castillo de Matecoulon data de los siglos XVI, XVIII y XIX y está declarado monumento histórico por sus fachadas y tejados. El resto del castillo, las dependencias y el parque están protegidos. Visite sólo el parque de 3 hectáreas. Este parque romántico está rodeado de edificios ornamentales, llamados "fabriques", y de árboles de diferentes especies, entre ellos un naranjo de Osage. Al atravesar el castillo, se llega a una escalera creada en 1800, cuya particularidad es que es autoportante.
