El sitio de Manas es una de las últimas grandes zonas de páramos húmedos y páramos secos en la llanura de la parte oriental de los Pirineos Atlánticos. Su diversidad de flora y fauna hace que sea un lugar notable y principal en la región de Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
Los humedales se extienden a lo largo del arroyo Lombré. Allí se encuentran muchas especies raras y protegidas, como la Narthecie de las marismas, la Drosera y el Sphaignes. A esta riqueza vegetal se suma una fauna igualmente diversa, que incluye un gran número de insectos, 40 especies de mariposas y 20 de libélulas.
El sitio también cuenta con una red de páramos y praderas secas, que albergan más de 50 especies de aves, entre ellas el pito negro y el martín pescador europeo.
Senderos de descubrimiento de 1,2 km, 1,5 km y 2,2 km con paneles de interpretación.
