El primer ministro Lord Palmerston también fue apodado "Lord Cupido" debido a su apetito por las mujeres. Aunque tenía dentaduras postizas que no le quedaban bien, este ministro era irresistible para las mujeres. Tuvo 7 hijos ilegítimos y algunas fuentes afirman que una vez intentó violar a una de las damas de la reina Victoria mientras visitaba el Castillo de Windsor. Henry John Temple, 3er Vizconde de Palmerston, vivió desde 1784 hasta 1865.
