Rochdale fue una parroquia eclesiástica de origen medieval temprano en el norte de Inglaterra, administrada desde la Iglesia de San Chad, Rochdale. En su apogeo, ocupó 58,620 acres de tierra entre los South Pennines y atravesaba la histórica frontera del condado entre Lancashire y el West Riding de Yorkshire. Al norte y al noroeste estaba la parroquia de Whalley; al suroeste estaba la parroquia de Bury; al sur estaban Middleton y Prestwich-cum-Oldham.
