Los edificios de la estación se erigieron en 1863-1864, y la sala de espera en el andén hacia abajo se construyó en la década de 1890. Desde entonces, estos edificios han sido demolidos y reemplazados por refugios básicos de NIR.
Después de Whiteabbey, la siguiente estación en la línea de Larne solía ser Bleach Green Halt, pero esta fue cerrada en mayo de 1977. Cerca de los viaductos de Bleach Green.
