La Abadía de Coupar Angus era un monasterio Cisterciense cerca de Coupar Angus, en Escocia central, en la frontera entre Angus y Gowrie.
Fue fundada en la antigua mansión real de Coupar entre 1161 y 1162 con el patrocinio de Máel Coluim IV, Rey de Escocia, por monjes cistercienses de la Abadía de Melrose. Se convirtió en una abadía de tamaño y riqueza medianos a grandes y disfrutó de más de cuatro siglos de vida monástica. En 1559, la abadía fue confiada por el abad Donald Campbell a su amiga Katherine Campbell, Condesa de Crawford.
