Coupar Angus Abbey was een cisterciënzers klooster nabij Coupar Angus, in centraal Schotland, op de grens tussen Angus en Gowrie.
Het werd opgericht op het oude koninklijke landgoed van Coupar in 1161 x 1162 met de bescherming van Máel Coluim IV, koning van de Schotten, door cisterciënzers monniken van Melrose Abbey. Het werd een abdij van middelgrote tot grote omvang en rijkdom en genoot meer dan vier eeuwen monastiek leven. In 1559 werd de abdij in bewaring gegeven door abt Donald Campbell aan zijn vriendin Katherine Campbell, gravin van Crawford.
