La batalla de Navarino fue una batalla naval librada en 1827, durante la guerra de independencia de Grecia, en Navarino . Combatieron las flotas otomana y egipcia contra las flotas combinadas británica, francesa y rusa, siendo el triunfo de esta última alianza. La derrota otomana motivó la retirada de la flota, aunque no de las tropas de tierra, que permanecieron en la península en la región hasta el fin de la expedición francesa de Morea; los combates entre griegos y otomanos continuaron, pero estos perdieron el apoyo logístico de la Armada.
