La Ombla es un río corto en Croacia, al noreste de Dubrovnik. Su recorrido tiene aproximadamente 30 metros de longitud y desemboca en la Rijeka Dubrovačka, una ría formada por el mar Adriático cerca de Komolac en el condado de Dubrovnik-Neretva. Rijeka Dubrovačka es en realidad una ría, un valle fluvial inundado formado por cambios en la elevación de la superficie marina en una escala de tiempo geológico. El río nace como un manantial kárstico alimentado por aguas subterráneas que son reabastecidas por Trebišnjica, que es un arroyo afluente que fluye en Popovo Polje, en el inmediato interior de la Ombla. La diferencia de elevación entre el manantial del río y su desembocadura es poco más de 2 metros. El caudal promedio del río es de 24.1 metros cúbicos por segundo. La cuenca de drenaje de la Ombla abarca 600 kilómetros cuadrados y, además del corto recorrido superficial, solo incluye el flujo de aguas subterráneas.
