Desde la idílica meseta de Folgaria, Lavarone y Luserna, poco antes del Passo di Vezzena, se bifurca a la izquierda una discreta carretera en dirección a Caldonazzo. El llamado "Camino de los Cazadores Imperiales" es un verdadero punto culminante: soldados tiroleses han esculpido el camino, que va desde los 1,255 m de altura hasta el lago Caldonazzo, en la roca durante la Primera Guerra Mundial. A lo largo de aproximadamente 12 kilómetros, serpentean curvas a través de túneles que en parte tienen solo 2,50 m de ancho y alto, y ofrecen vistas grandiosas del lago de Caldonazzo y del valle de Valsugana.
