Dall'idilliaca altopiano di Folgaria, Lavarone e Luserna, poco prima del Passo di Vezzena, si dirama a sinistra una strada poco appariscente verso Caldonazzo. Il cosiddetto "Sentiero dei Kaiserjäger" è un assoluto punto culminante: soldati tirolesi hanno scavato il sentiero, che scende da 1.255 m di altitudine fino al lago di Caldonazzo, nella roccia durante la prima guerra mondiale. Per circa 12 chilometri, tornanti si snodano attraverso gallerie, che in parte sono larghe e alte solo 2,50 m, e offrono grandiose vedute sul Lago di Caldonazzo e sulla valle del Valsugana.
