Sésia [sesja] fue un departamento del Consulado Francés y del Primer Imperio Francés en la actual Italia. Fue nombrado así por el río Sesia. Se formó en 1802, cuando la República Subalpina fue anexionada directamente a Francia. Su capital era Vercelli.
El departamento fue disuelto tras la derrota de Napoleón en 1814. En el Congreso de Viena, el rey saboyano de Cerdeña fue restaurado en todos sus reinos y dominios anteriores, incluidos Piamonte. Su territorio ahora está dividido entre las provincias italianas de Vercelli y Biella.
