Sésia [sesja] was een departement van het Franse Consulaat en van het Eerste Franse Rijk in het huidige Italië. Het was vernoemd naar de rivier Sesia. Het werd gevormd in 1802, toen de Subalpijnse Republiek direct werd geannexeerd door Frankrijk. De hoofdstad was Vercelli.
Het departement werd ontbonden na de nederlaag van Napoleon in 1814. Op het Congres van Wenen werd de Savoyaardse koning van Sardinië hersteld in al zijn vorige rijken en domeinen, inclusief Piemonte. Het grondgebied is nu verdeeld tussen de Italiaanse provincies Vercelli en Biella.
