El Col de Ambin es un paso alpino de los Alpes Cottianos situado en la frontera italo-francesa. Se encuentra en los Alpes Cottianos en la divisoria de aguas entre el Valle de Susa y la alta Maurienne.
El punto de paso es un hundimiento bien definido entre las cumbres del Monte Ambin y el Niblè. En el lado italiano cierra un breve barranco en la derecha hidrográfica del Barranco de Galambra, mientras que las aguas que descienden por el lado francés se recogen en el Ruisseau d'Ambin, un afluente por la izquierda del Arc. Cerca del collado se encuentra el refugio Walter Blais, mientras que a una altitud de 2.683 m, en el lado francés, se halla el Lago d'Ambin.
