La estación de tren de Bressanone se encuentra en la línea del Brennero en Tirol del Sur. Como uno de los principales centros urbanos de Tirol del Sur, Bressanone presenta el tercer mayor número de pasajeros del país.
La estación se encuentra en Bressanone, la tercera ciudad más grande de Tirol del Sur y la localidad principal del valle de Isarco. Está situada a 571 m de altura en la ladera de la montaña, un poco al suroeste del centro de la ciudad, que se puede alcanzar rápidamente desde aquí. Bressanone es un importante nudo de transporte gracias a su ubicación en la A22 y la SS 12, así como por ser un punto de conexión entre el valle de Isarco y el valle de Pusteria.
