El Castillo de Bourscheid probablemente tiene su origen en el siglo X, pero la primera documentación data de 1095. Durante amplios trabajos de ampliación en los siglos XIV y XV, se le dotó de una muralla con 6 torres góticas. El gobierno adquirió esta ruina del castillo, que había estado deshabitado desde el siglo XIX, y la hizo accesible al público. La casa Stolzemburger es una valiosa mansión gótica de 1348. Aquí se ha establecido un pequeño museo que cuenta la historia del castillo y de los señores de Bourscheid. En este contexto también se llevan a cabo las semanas culturales de Bourscheid. Cada noche iluminado hasta las 24 horas.
