La galería Hondsbësch en Niederkorn, en el municipio de Differdingen, era una parte de mina cerrada que durante la ocupación alemana de Luxemburgo sirvió como refugio para jóvenes hombres que querían escapar del reclutamiento forzado ilegal hacia la Wehrmacht. Debido a las altas pérdidas humanas de la Wehrmacht en el frente oriental, el servicio militar obligatorio fue anunciado el 30 de agosto de 1942 por el jefe de la administración civil, Gustav Simon, para el área CdZ de Luxemburgo. Muchos reclutados forzados intentaron eludir el servicio militar escondiéndose en casa de familiares, amigos, conocidos y otros patriotas luxemburgueses. El mayor escondite en Luxemburgo se encontraba en la mina Hondsbësch, parcialmente cerrada, en Niederkorn, donde temporalmente se refugiaran 122 fugitivos.
