El Canisius College de la orden de los jesuitas fue un colegio católico para chicos en Nimega. Este internado existió en esta forma desde 1900 hasta 1970. Hubo un gimnasio, una HBS y una escuela de comercio. Un total de aproximadamente 55,000 chicos asistieron a la escuela secundaria, entre ellos el ex-primer ministro Ruud Lubbers y el líder de D66 Hans van Mierlo.
