A unos metros de un grupo de jornaleros, un objeto cayó con un fuerte estruendo y un sonido creciente de silbido en un camino de tierra.
Levantó una nube de polvo y creó un cráter de impacto poco profundo. El meteorito, que pesa aproximadamente 720 gramos y está completamente cubierto de costra de fusión, es un meteorito de tipo condrita.
