A pochi metri da un gruppo di braccianti, un oggetto è atterrato con un forte bottto e un crescente suono stridente, schiantandosi su una stradina di sabbia.
Ha sollevato una nuvola di polvere e ha creato un cratere d'impatto poco profondo. Il meteorite pesante circa 720 grammi, ricoperto completamente da crosta fusa, è un meteorite roccioso di tipo condritico.
