Meerssen es una aldea en el sur de Limburg (Países Bajos). Desde el 1 de enero de 1982, es la localidad principal del municipio homónimo de Meerssen. Junto con Bunde y Rothem, forma una zona densamente poblada al norte de la capital provincial, Maastricht. Meerssen tiene aproximadamente 5840 habitantes.
La Basílica del Santísimo Sacramento, en su forma actual datada del siglo XIV, es una joya del gótico maasiano. En esta iglesia se encuentra un altar del sacramento de 12 metros de altura, en recuerdo de los milagros que supuestamente habrían ocurrido aquí.
