Meerssen è un comune nel sud del Limburgo (Paesi Bassi). È diventata dal 1 gennaio 1982 il capoluogo dell'omonimo comune di Meerssen. Insieme a Bunde e Rothem, forma una zona densamente popolata a nord della capitale provinciale Maastricht. Meerssen ha circa 5840 abitanti.
La Basilica del Ss. Sacramento, nella sua forma attuale risalente al XIV secolo, è un pezzo da novanta del Gotico della Mosella. In questa chiesa si trova una torre del sacramento alta 12 metri, in memoria dei miracoli che si sarebbero verificati qui.
