Den Ham es un pueblo del tipo brink en el municipio de Twenterand, en la provincia de Overijssel, a aproximadamente 8 kilómetros al sureste de Ommen y 18 kilómetros al noroeste de Almelo, y cuenta con 5,830 habitantes. El pueblo en sí pertenece a la región de Twente, tanto en dialecto como en historia legal. Den Ham es una base muy utilizada para explorar esta área natural. En ningún otro lugar de los Países Bajos se ha conservado tan bien el paisaje de cortinas original de Cultivos, prados, setos, bosques y brezales. Entre Den Ham y Ommen se encuentra el área natural "Eerder Achterbroek". En esta área natural también se sitúa "Landgoed Eerde" con el castillo de Eerde.
