La Salamandra es un molino de aserradero en la localidad neerlandesa de Leidschendam. El molino fue construido en 1777 como reemplazo de un predecesor quemado de siglo XVII. Estuvo en funcionamiento hasta 1953. El movimiento rotatorio del molino se transfiere al sector de aserrado mediante cintas de transmisión, donde los volantes fijados al cigüeñal ponen en movimiento los dos marcos de sierra. La Salamandra tiene un cigüeñal con cuatro muñequillas, pero solo se utilizan dos de ellas. A estos se les acopian los dos marcos de sierra. A partir de finales del siglo XIX, se utilizó una máquina de vapor para poder serrar incluso en calma chicha. Esta máquina de vapor se alimentaba con madera de desecho.
