La Heide de Strijbeek es una reserva natural ubicada al norte de Strijbeek. Tiene una extensión de 239 ha y es propiedad de Staatsbosbeheer. Esta antigua zona de brezos fue desforestada a partir de 1932 y parcialmente plantada con coníferas, y parcialmente transformada en tierras agrícolas. Sin embargo, se conservaron varios estanques y los restos de brezo circundantes. Se trata de Rondven, Langven, Zwarte Goor y Goudbergven. Desde 1990, se comenzó a combatir la desertificación, se dragaron los estanques, se eliminaron y también se desmalezaron las pequeñas áreas de brezo recreativas.
