Bontebok es una aldea en Heerenveen, en la provincia de Frisia, Países Bajos. Tenía una población de alrededor de 400 en 2017. La aldea se mencionó por primera vez en 1640 como Bonte Bock, y lleva el nombre de una posada que utilizaba una cabra como cartel. Bontebok se desarrolló durante la excavación de turba de la zona. La posada se ubicaba cerca de un desagüe donde los barqueros tenían que esperar. A la posada se unieron más tarde un par de tiendas y pubs, y se desarrolló un pequeño asentamiento. En 1840, Bontebok era hogar de 46 personas. En 1898, se inauguró una fábrica de lácteos en Bontebok.
