Se encuentra al noroeste de Sloten, al este de Ypecolsga, al sur de Heeg y al suroeste de Koufurderrige. El pueblo es un lugar de deportes acuáticos con el núcleo del pueblo a orillas de la Ee, y está conectado con el Slotermeer y a través de los Woudsenderakken con el Heegermeer.
El pueblo está en la ruta del Elfstedentocht y tiene varios puertos. La mayoría de los puertos deportivos se encuentran en el Wellesloot. Este canal fluye hacia la Noorder Ee, la Ee y los Woudsenderakken. En este último también hay un puerto con un camping, adyacente se encuentra un parque de vacaciones del pueblo Indijk.
