Los Bosques Malditos es el nombre de una antigua área boscosa en el Parque Nacional Veluwezoom en los Países Bajos, en el municipio de Rheden. El origen del nombre no está del todo claro. Lo más probable es que se derive de la palabra en neerlandés medio "on-saelig", que significa miserable. La tierra era pobre en nutrientes y, por lo tanto, no era muy adecuada para la agricultura. La zona boscosa montañosa consiste principalmente en bosques de robles, y está atravesada por varias avenidas de hayas, incluida la recta Avenida del Rey. La corteza de roble de los Bosques Malditos se utilizó durante mucho tiempo para el curtido de cuero.
