Le Foreste Infauste è il nome di un'antica area boschiva nel Parco Nazionale olandese Veluwezoom a Veluwe, nel comune di Rheden. L'origine del nome non è del tutto chiara. È probabile che derivi dalla parola medio-olandese "on-saelig", che significa miserevole. Il suolo era infatti povero di nutrienti e quindi non molto adatto all'agricoltura. L'area boschiva collinare è per lo più composta da boschi di querce e attraversata da alcuni viali di faggi, tra cui il dritto Viale dei Re. La corteccia di quercia delle Foreste Infauste è stata a lungo utilizzata per la concia delle pelli.
