Jukwerd es una pequeña aldea en la municipalidad de Eemsdelta en la provincia de Groningen, Países Bajos. Se encuentra aproximadamente a un kilómetro al norte de Appingedam, entre dos maras: la Kleine y la Groote Heekt. En la wierde se encuentra la antigua iglesia de Jukwerd. Esta iglesia de salón con un campanario abierto fue construida en 1866 como sucesora de la iglesia en ruinas de finales de la Edad Media de 1435. El edificio de la iglesia, al igual que la casa parroquial, es un monumento municipal y ya no se utiliza como casa de Dios. Desde 1981, ha sido habitada y se utiliza como taller por artistas visuales, quienes también imparten cursos allí.
