El puesto de vigilancia 30 fue construido en 1880. Un puesto de vigilancia era una casita en la que vivía el guardabarreras. Él o ella abría y cerraba las barreras del paso a nivel cuando pasaba un tren. Todas las casitas fueron construidas en los años 80 y 90 del siglo XIX. Tras el cierre de la línea en 1950, muchas casitas fueron demolidas porque perdieron su antigua función. Afortunadamente, algunas han sobrevivido.
