De Aker es un barrio en Ámsterdam Nieuw-West, en la provincia holandesa de Holanda Septentrional. El nombre se deriva de la Akerpolder de Middelveldsche, en la que se encuentra este barrio. En esta polder, que fue drenada entre 1876 y 1896, predominaba la horticultura antes de la construcción del barrio.
En De Aker, al igual que en Nieuw Sloten, se construyó de manera mucho más compacta que en las ciudades-jardín del oeste construidas anteriormente. De Aker es la parte habitada más occidental de la edificación urbana de Ámsterdam y limita con el Ringvaart de la polder de Haarlemmermeer.
