El Hovenring es una rotonda para bicicletas suspendida por cables de un pilón sobre un cruce en una de las vías de conexión entre Eindhoven y Veldhoven. El camino de entrada norte de Eindhoven a Veldhoven consiste en la Noord-Brabantlaan en Eindhoven y la Heerbaan en Veldhoven. Durante muchos años, había una gran rotonda en este camino, justo al noreste de la frontera municipal con Veldhoven, cuya calzada era lo suficientemente ancha para tres carriles. Se decidieron no marcar líneas blancas en la carretera, con la intención de estimular a los usuarios de la vía a conducir de manera más tranquila. Muchos usuarios de la vía consideraban esta construcción como incómoda.
